R’ Hoffman from Eretz Yisrael struggles to make ends meet. He doesn’t have an extra penny from one day to the next. He was making a chasunah, and he had to help out his daughter with a dirah and everything. He said that now he was after the chasunah; he did not go one penny into debt! He said that if he were to make a list of who donated to the chasunah, the list would just keep on going and going and going and going! To be able to walk out of a chasunah without one penny in debt?? There is no way a Yid could make sense out of such a thing; it’s all nissim geluyim!
