Baruch Keriger learns in Mesivta and they had an off-Shabbos. He and another nine bochurim made arrangements to go upstate. On Thursday, the plans fell through. The person who was going to host them realized that family was coming and he didn’t have any room for the 10 bochurim. They said, “Okay. Let’s go anyway! We’ll have Bitachon, and Hashem will work it out. We’ll have Bitachon, and someone is going to invite us for Shabbos!” They went Thursday night, and they had no place to go, so they slept at a hotel on Thursday night. Friday morning, they went to the mikvah, and a Chassidish man asked them if they had any place for Shabbos. When they said no, he said, “Come to my house!” Klal Yisrael is amazing! The Rothman’s* were marrying off their daughter, and they didn’t have a penny to their name. They had no idea how they were going to make a chasunah. An organization in the city where they live called them up and said, “We heard that your daughter became a kallah, and you’re making a chasunah. Someone just called us up and said that they want to sponsor a chasunah. Would you like to be part of this?” They said, “Are you serious? Mrs. Fischer* had a baby four months ago. One night her baby gave her a tough night. He was up most of the night, and she didn’t really have too much time to sleep. She works in the morning, and she usually wakes up early to make herself lunch, but she didn’t have an ounce of koach. She said, “Hashem, who is going to make me lunch today? What am I going to do?” When she went to the front door, she saw a five-course meal waiting for her outside! She was thinking, “Where could this have come from?”She noticed a note attached saying that her shul had a program that provides meals for kimpeturin mothers. They were giving it to her now, and she never actually received it when her baby was born. They gave her the lunch package four months late, exactly the day she needed it! When Yaakov arrived at his host’s house for Shabbos without his tie, he explained that he didn’t have a chance to pick it up from the cleaners. R’ David Kruzer* from Lakewood is on a gluten-free diet, which can be quite costly. So, after Pesach, someone gave him a massive order of cookies, crackers, etc. that he wouldn’t be able to sell anymore- for free. He just ran out this week. The day he ran out, someone called him to say that there was someone who had a whole shipment of gluten-free crackers that he wanted to give out!Amazingly, Hashem worked out that so many months after Pesach, when his gluten-free ran out, out of the blue, he should get a call that there was another special Jew who wanted to give him more![heard by R’Zevy Golombeck] Read more: Chesed Galore!

A friend of Mrs. Vogel* needed money, so she accepted on herself to raise $1600 a month on her behalf. Someone explained to her that you call 16 people, and they each give $100. So she got to work and called the first person on her list, who answered, “What would you like?” So, she explained that she was collecting $1600 a month on someone’s behalf. So she replied, ” I’m in a rush; I’ll give you $1600 for this month, and call me again in a month for next month’s $1600″. She called planning to ask for $100, and her friend gave the whole $1600!
