Hashem Works Out Everything

R’ Nosson*, a relative of Rabbi Golombeck, was planning to drive one Friday from Lakewood to upstate New York. Since he would be driving with an empty car, he first stopped by the hitching spot on Squankum Avenue, where people wait for rides. (Baruch Hashem, in Lakewood and many other places in the world, yidden stop and they give each other rides.) R’ Nosson arrived at the hitching spot at 12:00, but he did not see anybody who needed a ride. This was very unusual, and he felt a letdown; he wanted to be able to do chesed and give a ride so much, but there was no one waiting for a ride. But what should he do? Obviously, Hashem had different plans. He started driving upstate with his empty car. As he was driving on the highway, he saw a Yiddishe couple pulled over at the side of the road, holding a couple of kids. He stopped and asked, “Do you need help?” They said, “Yes, our car died. We’re going to upstate New York, and we need a ride.” He told them, “Are you serious? I’m going to upstate New York, and I have an empty car. Come with me.” It turned out that their family filled the whole car! If he would have given anyone else a ride, then he would not have had room for this family!   Read more:Everything Works Out to The Tee!

Free Chairs

Mrs. Ausband’s* chairs were falling apart. She wanted to get them fixed, but she knew it would cost a lot of money, so she wanted to find someone who would fix them for a reasonable price. She thought of somebody who might know who to use, so she called them up and she asked if they knew of anyone who fixes chairs. They said to her, “Actually, we just bought a whole new set of chairs, and we have beautiful chairs that we’re giving away.  We were going to put it on a freebate lakewood today. If you want to come look at it, you can see if you like it.” They were in beautiful condition and it was just amazing Hashgacha how she got the chairs on the day that they were going to give it away; she called even before they put on the freebate!   Read more: Hashgacha Pratis Milk!

R’ Friedman,* a Rebbe, had to bring his daughter to a doctor’s appointment. He realized that he would have to take off from teaching time. He didn’t want to, because he just took off recently for a chasunah, and he can’t take off too many days. He didn’t know what to do, because his daughter really needed that appointment; they waited a long time for it. Then he said, “One second. Hashem can orchestrate everything. I’ll just leave it up to Hashem!” Not long afterwards, the menahel told R’ Friedman that the yeshiva was going to be having a field day, and they would be going on a trip. The yeshiva doesn’t usually go on trips but something came up and they’re going on a trip. During the trip, R’ Friedman would not have to come in to teach. Rabbi Golombeck sees how much Hashem Loves and Cares for him!

A mother left him a message with a question on the hotline. He called her back and said to her that this question was for her Rav and she should be asking him. She said that with these types of questions, her Rav tells her that only Rabbi Forsheimer knows the answers. So Rabbi Golombeck asked her, “So what’s the problem?” She said that the last time she tried to call Rabbi Forsheimer, it took her a week to get through to him. She doesn’t have a week now to get through to him. Rabbi Golombeck told her, “Okay, I’ll call him instead of you.” Usually, Rabbi Golombeck also has to call Rabbi Forsheimer about 20 to 40 times in order to get through to him, but he decided he’ll do it anyway, to help another Yid. He called, and on the first try, Rabbi Forsheimer answered!! Rabbi Forsheimer said that he didn’t have a clear answer to the question and that Rabbi Golombeck should call Rebbetzin Halberstadt;  she would know. So Rabbi Golombeck called Rebetzin Halberstadt, and she said that she was leaving to teach in three minutes; and that Rabbi Golombeck caught her right as she was about to leave! She said she had 60 seconds. She gave Rabbi Golombeck 100 percent clarity on the answer to the question. Within two minutes of Rabbi Golombeck speaking to the mother with her question, she got an answer!! Even though it was through Rabbi Forsheimer, who usually takes 20 times to get through to, and the Rebbetzin, who was about to leave for work! Everything was orchestrated perfectly with hashgacha pratis! Read More: Hashgacha Pratis Read more: “Hashem’s Constant Care”
