Everything Works Out to The Tee!

R’ Friedman,* a Rebbe, had to bring his daughter to a doctor’s appointment. He realized that he would have to take off from teaching time. He didn’t want to, because he just took off recently for a chasunah, and he can’t take off too many days. He didn’t know what to do, because his daughter really needed that appointment; they waited a long time for it. Then he said, “One second. Hashem can orchestrate everything. I’ll just leave it up to Hashem!” Not long afterwards, the menahel told R’ Friedman that the yeshiva was going to be having a field day, and they would be going on a trip. The yeshiva doesn’t usually go on trips but something came up and they’re going on a trip. During the trip, R’ Friedman would not have to come in to teach. It was the exact day and the same time as the appointment! Read more: Such clear Hashgacha Pratis!

Hashem’s Loyal Nation

Mrs. Newhouse* from England takes a particular course that’s given by a non-Jew. One year, this instructor said to her, “You know, I just checked the weather forecast for your holiday, Purim, and it’s going to be snowing and raining. I guess you have to cancel your Purim plans or push it off. What day are you pushing it off to?”  She said, “No, no. We don’t push things off. We do it in the snow, we do it in the rain, we do it in the heat, we do it no matter what.”  The instructor said, “Wow, that’s not the way we work. By us, we only do things if it’s convenient. You Jews are loyal; you have such devotion.”  What a Kiddush Hashem! Read more: “Bitachon and Chesed United!”

Impressions are Meaningless

Mrs. Rosenberg* walked out of her house, and she saw a friend, who she had not met in a long time, coming towards her. Right away, she started thinking: “What type of an impression am I going to make on her? Do I look happy? Do I look the way she wants me to look?” She started getting nervous.  When her friend approached her, her friend said, “You know, my natural instinct is always to worry what others are thinking of me and what type of an impression I am making. But I follow the Bitachon Hotline, and it doesn’t bother me anymore.” Mrs. Rosenberg said, “Whoa, those were the exact words I needed to hear! I’m scared of her, and she’s scared of me!  With Bitachon there’s no need to be scared because what does it help to make an impression?” See More:‘A Life With Bitachon’ See more: Say Goodbye to “Problems”!
